Reyna from Guatemala:
Reyna comes from a very poor family in Guatemala. After birth, Reyna was diagnosed with cancer in her left eye which caused her to lose her eye sight and forced the removal of her eye to avoid having the cancer spread to other areas. Compassion Medicine helped Reyna get a new prosthetic eye! As she grows, she will need a slightly larger prosthetic eye to fit her growing eye socket which Compassion Medicine will provide. Compassion Medicine is committed to following up on all children treated by the organization to ensure they develop well and have a positive experience. Reyna is a happy little girl now with hope for the future!
