  • Children up to age 18 (exceptions considered on a case-by-case basis)
  • Medical condition that can either be corrected or treatment results in substantial improvement
  • Poor access to quality healthcare necessary to treat their medical condition
  • Lack of financial resources to pay for medical care
  • Children from third-world country (non-U.S.)
